授業報告 博物館コミュニケーション特論 III 第7回 11月19日

These days we are working on the idea of including some new wooden souvenirs in the museum shop. It has been decided that each student will think and design its own new wooden object and in the class we will discuss each student’s idea and suggest improvements in it.  In the today’s class, Mr. Kei Mieki presented the idea of a wooden puzzle, made up of different animals present in the Museum. His targets are the elderly people, who are visiting the museum shop, may possibly want to buy something full of curiosity and knowledge for the children. Ms. Teina Nakashima is thinking to create a specimen box that can be used to keep many items due to is versatile use and can attract every one visiting the museum shop. Ms. Abe Masumi is planning for a set, having three items, of wooden book page markers.  Their design can be based on some old stamp style or may include some quotation or prayer for passing the exam.  I (Muhammad Usman), thinking to include a display plate in the Museum shop. It will attract those people who want to buy some memorial souvenir.

We all, including teachers and students, have critically analyzed each proposed souvenir and many new improvements were suggested. We will modify our ideas based on today’s discussion and will further discuss and will hopefully finalize it in the next class.
